This is a pool match from the 2008 U.S. Open 9 Ball Championship. This match features one of my favorite players, Rodney Morris. He is matched-up with Danny Harriman. Both of these guys are in-stroke and playing well in this match. It is a race to 11 games. Danny’s break was STRONG in this match. That is one thing that stood out to me. This video is a tribute to the late, great straight pool champion…Steve Mizerak. Steve became one of the more famous pool players in recent history. Known for his famous Miller Lite commercials in the 1970′s, Steve was a world class player and a great for our sport. I hope you enjoy it.

Dennis Hatch has been tearing up the Joss Northeast 9-Ball tour this year. This tournament was an example of that fact. This tour stop was held at Comet Billiards in New Jersey. In this match Dennis Hatch is playing Tom McGonagle for the hot-seat. This match was held in the new Accu-Stats arena at Comet Billiards.
